Character Designer, Hard Surface Modeler, and Animator

I Recently graduated from the Digital Animation Center (DAC) at University of Colorado in May with a GPA of 3.6, studying animation, rigging, hard surface modeling, organic modeling, and texturing . I am proficient in Maya, Zbrush, and Surface Painter, and have experience with Unreal Engine, Houdini, Substance Designer, and Nuke.

I am a lover of animation, turning a childhood obsession into an adult passion. I am interested in becoming an Animator, Modeler, or working on the technical end of character creation, making rigs and weight painting. I was admitted to Denver School of the Arts as a middle schooler at age 11, auditioning with a Lego stop-motion short film. Through Middle and High School I had experience with various traditional animation projects. I won a Colorado Scholastic Gold Key Award for an animation of the book Mister O by Lewis Trondheim. This animation then won a National Scholastic Silver Key Award. I was fortunate enough to attend the Award ceremony at Carnegie Hall in New York. In College at Colorado Film School I specialized in post-production and effects, and it was my experience in post-production that sparked my interest in Digital Animation. I received an AS in Film and Cinematography with an emphasis in Post-Production Editing from the Colorado Film School. I have a BA in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Digital Animation from the University of Colorado in May 2021. have learned much and have found a deep passion for this style of filmmaking. I find that working in digital animation has a similar workflow to editing film and movies. Making engaging film is what I am most passionate about. I love to create characters and tell unique and entertaining stories about them. I love the technical aspects of building characters and giving them life through animation. I want to learn as much about this industry as I can and launch my career in Digital Film making.
