finally I can begin work on Syd, we as a group have come together and discussed the importance of gender identity and how it will relate to this character in particular. Syd is going to be designed to be gender neutral, and Christine has shown us a PDF presentation that she put together on the subject.

this is a topic we have talked about a few times in character meetings, and we have come to a sort of tentative understanding on what direction we want to go in. Violet has come up with some terrific character sheets I will be using primarily in informing the design of the character.
based on this character sheet I have already started a block-out for the character and will use that as the base working forward with the sculpt.
